What is "Baby Dedication"
Becoming the parent of a new child is one of life's greatest joys but also carries a depth of responsibility that is like no other.
If you have had a new baby, you will realise that you will need the wisdom and strength of God to fulfil this task.

In the Dedication Service you, as parents, desire to dedicate your child to the Lord, but you are also indicating your willingness to dedicate yourself to help your child grow in the things of God and fulfil their divine destiny.

“I asked the Lord to give me this boy (child), and He has granted my request. Now I am giving him to the Lord, and he will belong to the Lord his whole life”
What is in the Dedication Service?
A Parent’s Pledge
You, as parents, will be asked to if you will commit yourselves to the following:
Will you train up your child in the way that they should go?
Will you show your child the God-kind of love?
Will you raise your child in the training and instruction of the Lord, not provoking them to anger?
Will you teach your child the principles of God’s Word and show them the value of those principles?
Will you be an example to your child of how to live victoriously through the promises contained in God’s Word?
