Tony & Patsy

Tony Cameneti
The second of seven boys, and born in the Midwestern state of Ohio, Tony is of strong Italian heritage. Tony remembers about growing up, “I had all the friends I needed right there in the house, and I certainly learnt to get along!” Born again when he was 23, Tony has been married to Patsy for 22 years.

Patsy Cameneti
Born in the beautiful Colorado Mountains to Christian parents, Patsy is the middle child in a close-knit family of five. Now a mother of two teenage girls, Patsy is a self-confessed animal lover, with a particular fondness for dogs.

Colin & Catherine

Colin Doherty
Colin grew up in a blended family and was one of eight kids in that home growing up on the Northern beachside suburb of Narrabeen, New South Wales. Moving to Perth in 1985, Colin met his wife Catherine, and they have three precious daughters.

Catherine Doherty
A born and bred Perth girl, Catherine was born in Subiaco into a home of three girls, and sights her Christian mother as a strong, supportive influence on her life. Catherine prioritises her family and the ministry, and is dedicated to the continued prosperity of both these pursuits!

Leki & Belle

Leki Crichton
The only boy, and second eldest in a family of four, Leki was born to Tongan and Samoan parents in Sydney’s West. Leki met his God at the age of 18, being saved from a life of fighting and nite clubbing.

Belle Crichton
Travelling to Australia at the age of seven, Belle was born to Christian parents of Samoan descent in Auckland, New Zealand. As well as serving in the local church, Belle works for the Department of Education head office as a Policy Officer.

Paul & Jasmine

Paul Pillay
Born in Malaysia, the husband to Jasmine and the father of two adult daughters, Paul Pillay is the Business Manager here at Rhema Family Church. A chartered accountant, Paul is also a Link Group leader and involved in pastoral care. Paul and Jasmine became Australian citizens in the Bicentennial year of 1988.

Jasmine Pillay
Hailing from Malaysia, Jasmine is a lover of Christian books, both fiction and non-, and has her own Vision Radio ministry and book club reviewing Christian literature. Jasmine can be found typically in the bookstore at Rhema Family Church, as well as leading a weekly prayer meeting for the nation of Israel, the monthly women’s Breakfast Club and teaching in Rhema Bible Training Centre.

James & Jenny

James Eddison
James was born to Christian parents and grew up in Western Sydney. After graduating from University in his late 30’s, James began work in the Child Protection industry – a position he now juggles with his work in pastoral care. In his spare time he enjoys playing his lap-steel guitar. 

Jenny Eddison
Jenny was born in South Africa, but came out to Australia at the age of three and grew up in Western Sydney. Having trained as a teacher, Jenny loves music and playing the piano, and doting over her family and four gorgeous grandchildren.

Chris & Amelia

Chris Hope
Born to Salvation Army parents, and the middle child of five, Chris has worked in the building trade since he was sixteen, having recently laid down his tools to serve in the local church full time.

Amelia Hope
Growing up in a Baptist home, and the second of three girls, Amelia met her sweetheart in year seven, at the ripe age of eleven and a half! Amelia and Chris have been married for nine years, and have two beautiful sons.

Murray & Kathy

Murray Boyton
As a child, Murray grew up travelling through regional Australia, before moving to the Gold Coast where he became a Christian at the age of 19 while working there as a bartender.

Kathy Boyton
Raised in Canberra to European immigrants, Kathy is the youngest of four. Kathy loves to worship and express the heart of God in her relationships with people. Kathy loves mothering her three children. 

Karen

Karen Workentin
Karen is the daughter of Dutch and Russian immigrant parents who escaped persecution and moved to the USA, where Karen was born in Lynden, Washington. Other than a four year period spent back in the US, Karen has lived here since 1978, and has been an Australian citizen since 1992.
