Rhema Links

The Scriptural foundation for the establishment of RHEMA Links can be found in Acts 2:42 (NKJV).
42    And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.

There are three main functions that can be seen in this Scripture that give a pattern for the establishment and operation of groups like RHEMA Links:

What are Rhema Links

RHEMA Links are small groups of people that meet together on a regular basis to build relationships with one another.

RHEMA Links come under one of three categories:

Life Links - Where you can learn and serve together

Social Links - Where you can relate around common interests

Prayer Links - Where you can pray and worship

RHEMA Links are a smaller expression of our church. All RHEMA Links have been approved by church leadership.

RHEMA Links have a topic, activity, or theme that run continuously or is completed by the end of the term.

Why do we have Rhema Links?

Relationships are built in RHEMA Links.

This is one way that we connect with one another in our church. We want people to have a sense of belonging, knowing that we value and accept them in the same way that God does.

People can find ministry in RHEMA Links.

People can find a safe place where their gifts can be developed and expressed.

Outreach takes place through RHEMA Links.

There are people who would come to a Links group that would never set foot inside a church building. One purpose of RHEMA Links is to go to where people are instead of expecting them to come to us.

People care for one another in small groups such as RHEMA Links.

We encourage people to pray for one another, care for one another, and call to check on one another if they are missing.

To communicate from, with and to the church.

Encourage attendance, advertise special events, and communicate needs and testimonies of the Links group members.
